It is, but that doesn't mean I see my family alot. They are busy and I am busy with school but my gf is at school. So I just stay at school so I can study and spend time with her. Plus I live in the dorms so ya. lol Trying to become more independent so that means little time at home and more time on my own. It's working too, so far.

I don't see them horribly much, about as much as the average student who lives 2+ hours away from home. I rarely go home but it's nice to know I can. lol

hey I did the 2+ hours from home in college---I thought it was great....close enough for me to get home if I needed to (and the first year+ I had braces and the $#@% really bad ortho was back home so I had to come home once every 5 weeks....when I got the retainer and figured out how to get the perm. one off so that he would remove it and 'come back next week and we can put it back on' never saw that condescending awipe again....and for the record he did NOT fix the problems, he made them worse, much much worse).

So yeah I liked being far enough from home that my mom couldnt come and visit but I could go home (remember that bad back--well I got it from her so she couldnt handle long car rides) and now that bad gene is bothering me.....

and no wasnt enjoying the weather, but the couch and heating pad.

oO My brother has braces! But he is coming to the same college as me so ya, he will be close to home so it won't be bad for him. And for the record cosy, I am 20 mins away.

It's nice out but no sun. So it's kinda sad...

20 minutes....my mom would have been there every weekend

(for the record I chose a school far enough away that visits would be hard for them....I wanted to get AWAY from my family, go figure)
so that means you are some where in the middle of Illinois.....nice cheap places to live and close enough to big cities if you need them (st louis and chicago....and indianapolis if you really want to go there)......had thought about staying down there back in grad school, but hubby got accepted out of state so we went------west

My parents don't mind. My dad works on campus so I see him everyonce in awhile but not that often. My mom calls to see how I am doing but it's not that often. My parents want me to be independent. But meh, it happens.

I'm in Central Illinois. The college I am attending is private and not cheap, but I get tutition remission since my dad works here. So ya.

My college is pretty good. It's a well respected school and tough. Looks good on a resume for sure.

Isn't it though? I have a friend coming over, we are gonna do some more Terrorist Hunt missions on Realistic. They are a biatch.

Well done with my chem final. I think it went fairly well. I pretty much knew everything I think... so hopefully I got an A. *fingerscrossed*

Our band got a 1 (the highest) for this band contest thing today, it was an OMEA thing, and they don't allow cameras or any recording equipment except for the judges.

Anyways our 8th grade band did really well but some retard took a picture so they got disqualified.

I also saw my old friend alex there he goes to another school and I was talking to him during lunch.

I'm playing in single player though because I wouldn't play D2 online with the crap that happens if you paid me. Single player is a bit harder because you're the only one there most of the time. My hench guy gets owned fast and it usually takes me an hour or 2 to do most quests because I've gotta go back and buy potions.

a random question just to clarify something
In GW when you "Run" something it usually entails that you can solo it with little or no help from outside sources (i understand some people use hero's to make it quicker by casting stuff like mending etc)
Thus for this "Run" you charge a fee that is reasonable depending on the current state of GW.
On the other hand if you advertise a "Run" but require large amounts of help from those persons you are "Running" isn't that considered farming or questing?
(I.E. a runner does a dungeon and dies multiple times thus requiring the "randoms" to help kill the monters.)
Am i correct that in saying if you "Run" in the second case that you don't charge for it?

That would be considered questing, yes.

Run means you can do it yourself or with 1 other friend/guildmate. You shouldn't charge for something that you need a PUG's help for.
